in 2012 we launched the We’re Cracking Up campaign
This beautiful and tranquil place has been a site of public worship and witness for more than 350 years. We need your help.
We’ve already spent £105,000 to halt subsidence, to repair damage, and to improve site security after a number of lead thefts. We’ve improved energy efficiency and helped save water. But there is still more to be done – with £33,000 urgently needed.
We have an exciting history, help us have a living future as well.
Our appeal met its target, and the works on our building are complete. We found the way forward slower than we wanted, and we’ve had some new issues, like the collapsed garden wall, which is now scheduled for repairs. At present, we are not doing high profile fundraising for the building.
I’ve retained these pages to explain the need and for historic interest
